Please send an email

Metrics Technology requests that support inquiries be made via email. This is an efficient way for you to convey the large amount of information required to provide support. Email also provides a forum to send back detailed instructions that you now have for future reference.

Note: Please make sure you are running the most current Hot Fix for your software version. Support requests for licenses that are not running the most current version will be required to update before further support is provided.

Please provide the following information. Requests must include this information in order to be processed.

  1. Registration Number.
  2. Software Package (ICS or I/CV).
  3. Software Version Number (a screen shot of the System Config | About tab for I/CV or the Help | About window from ICS).
  4. Customer Name.
  5. Customer Email address.
  6. PC Operating System.
  7. A detailed description of problem/question.
  8. Exact copies of any error messages (screenshots are preferred).

For GPIB questions please also include

  1. GPIB Card Manufacturer and Type.
  2. GPIB Software Version.

For ICS test questions please also provide

  1. The "project binary" format export of the ICS Project File.
  2. The exact instrument configuration.

 

Response Time

Metrics Technology strives to provide responses within 4 business hours. On occasion the request is sufficiently complicated that it requires additional time. However all inquiries will be notified of receipt within 1 business day.
